The Alfa Romeo MiTo Maserati - the Maserati courtesy car
As you’ll know if you read here regularly, we like the Alfa Romeo MiTo. Sure, it has its faults (what car doesn’t) but it’s very stylish, remarkably well put together (certainly for an Alfa), fun to drive and holds its value well (which is a real first for Alfa Romeo). But it’s not necesarily the sort of car that would register on the radar of the average Maserati owner.

Jaguar XKR GT3: the lowdown
This is the Jaguar XKR GT3, a 550bhp, race-fettled XK which will campaign in the 2007 FIA GT3 series. But the big news is that its uprated V8 engine is bound for a roadgoing XKR, to propel Jaguar up the power league and into the realm of Merc's 510bhp SL55 AMG and BMW's 500bhp M6. Apex Motorsport will design, develop and campaign the XKR GT3, shown here in an official artist's impression.
Audi has unveiled the new TT GT4, its latest racing machine, available for a cool €120,000. The Audi TT GT4 concept, based on the production TT, got its first shakedown at DTM season finale race in Shanghai at the weekend, with five-time Le Mans winner Frank Biela at the wheel. This TT is the work of the Technical Development and the Production divisions of the German firm's Quattro division.
